Project summary
This project involved the conversion of four existing retail units on Charing Cross Road to create a new bar and lounge for the adjacent, Grade II listed Phoenix Theatre. Planning had already been achieved and we had just four months to deliver a fully functioning building in time for the opening night of ‘Stranger Things: The First Shadow’. The works included the bar and lounge, WCs, prep area and, for the first time, to provide step free access to the theatre via a new platform lift.
