Crosfields School has won ‘Social Infrastructure Project of the Year’ at the British Construction Industry Awards 2022. This is fantastic recognition for this new senior school building, where we took a collaborative digital approach that utilised offsite construction and cross laminated timber. The judges said:
We were impressed with how this project delivered excellent outcomes for the school, with innovation and sustainability clearly embedded in the project brief, design and construction. This was a great case study in using standardised products and off-site manufacture to create an exciting and inspiring building. The relationship with the client, and the overall collaboration across the design and delivery team, were also clearly very positive in delivering an excellent outcome.
Thanks to everyone involved in the project and to the judges and sponsors at the BCIA 2022 and congratulations to all the other winners and finalists. More details about the awards can be found here and for more details about the project, click here.
