We’re proud to announce that Nunhead Green is complete. This delivery project provides 14 new homes (8 family terraced houses and 6 flats and maisonettes) in Southwark for the One Housing Group and it demonstrates DMA’s expertise in delivering high quality, complex projects from various stages of the design and construction process.

We came to this project post planning, when the design had been approved by the planners and the structural frame was already complete on site. The building, which encloses one side of Nunhead Green and is within the Nunhead Green Conservation Area,  is designed in a modern, vernacular style with a complicated roofscape and a variety of decorative details and brick patterns. Working closely with Claritas Group, their specialist sub-contractors, and with the planners, we used our technical expertise to unpick the existing constraints and to carefully develop the design. Using a very detailed Building Information Model, we translated the traditional detailing into modern construction techniques that enabled the project to be delivered and managed in line with the existing and exacting planning requirements. Great teamwork, working together to produce creative resolutions and technical coordination have brought a really positive outcome and a building we can all be proud of.
