Handover of the second phase of our refurbishment with Kier of this former adult education centre in Bromley to create a new, 3-form entry primary school for the STEP Academy Trust took place this month. We have been working to restore the original Victorian building and redesign it to provide new reception, infant and junior classrooms, wcs, staff areas, new community entrance and a beautiful new dining/main hall with servery and fully catered kitchen. Accessibility has been improved through re-landscaping the sloped site and introducing a new level entrance that allows access to an internal lift to access floors above.

The final phase of the works involves demolition of the poor quality 1960s/70s ad hoc extensions to restore the building to its original footprint and is due to complete in August of this year, in time for the 2019 intake.
