Project summary

This project involved delivering a bespoke office space across three floors of a historic building, which has a Grade II listed façade and lobby. Originally designed as a bank, a key feature of the new design was to open up an archway within the central Victorian banking hall to connect through into the new WeWork demise and to create a special and welcoming new access with a barista station. The banking hall’s Grade II listed status meant that any alterations needed regulatory approval so the preparation of specialist heritage reports was prioritised to gain timely planning and listed building approvals. This minimised the impact on programme and the project was successfully delivered within a tight timeframe.
